Meet Our Team

Meet Dr. Nate Gunning! He was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona where he completed his undergraduate degree in Business Management at Arizona State University. After attending dental school at the University of Colorado, he fell in love with this beautiful state and never wants to leave! When he isn’t reading dental articles, attending continued education classes, or learning as much as he can about dentistry, you can find him hiking in the mountains or playing volleyball with friends in the city. He is excited to join the Parker community with his wife and three children and is honored to have the opportunity to give you your signature smile.

Sarah is a certified dental assistant of almost 13 years and is always striving to learn more. She aspires to be a great leader for her team. She loves to help people get past their dental fears by gaining their trust. She started her dental career in 2006 when she joined the US Air Force. This is where she met her wonderful husband! Sarah has since left the Air Force to continue her love for dentistry as an assistant. She is from Washington State (GO SEAHAWKS) and has lived in Idaho, England, Alaska, New Mexico, and as of recently, Denver!

Sarah has two fur babies, her cat Tyrion and her pup Khali (short for Khaleesi). She loves makeup! Anything from wedding makeup, to Halloween or costume makeup. She also loves pranks and will try to make you smile or laugh at all costs. She enjoys almost all outdoor activities, and at the same time catching up on her favorite shows. Sarah is excited to call Denver her forever home and cannot wait for the opportunities ahead.

Born and raised in Colorado! Married to the love of her life. They live in Parker and are raising their two kids Griffyn, age 11, and Ellie, age 13. She enjoys watching their volleyball games and Taekwondo competitions. They have 2 dogs that always keep life exciting. Love the outdoors, especially paddleboarding, hiking, and skiing. She loves dinners out with her friends and family. Cooking and travel are her ultimate passion!

Sarah is thrilled to be working at Signature Smiles with such an amazing and caring team! She has been a hygienist for 18 amazing years. Sarah is passionate about oral health and educating patients. She enjoys continuing her education and learning about new technology in the field of dentistry. Sarah is known for her painless cleanings, and is excited to meet new patients!

Emily is a Florida native but has lived in our beautiful state for over six years. She moved here while finishing high school and fell in love with all that the state has to offer. She decided to stay and attend college in the Springs. Emily received her degree from the University of Colorado in Biomedical Sciences during which she also attended dental assisting school. After dental assisting school, she shadowed here at the office for several months and was hired shortly after. She is currently trying to get into dental school in hopes of being a dentist one day!

She is very close with her parents and has 3 fur babies named Luke, Leia, and Jake. She loves watching movies but also loves being outdoors, paddle boarding, and snowboarding. However, her main passion is horseback riding! She has a giant horse named Puppy and competitively jumps with him.

Patty moved from Wyoming to Colorado after graduating from dental hygiene school. She did not think she would make the Denver area her forever home, but now she can’t imagine ever leaving! She loves Colorado and enjoys all it has to offer, including golf, hiking, biking and skiing. She also absolutely enjoys gardening, cooking and reading. She and her husband spend time cheering on the local sports teams including the Broncos, Nuggets, Avalanche and Rockies. Traveling together is a valued pastime and most likely they will have their golf clubs in tow. Spending time with family is a priority and they look forward to any opportunity to do so. Patty is a gentle technician, kind and empathetic. She is so excited to be part of the Signature Smiles team!
